Hey Dan, what would it take for the club to build a suspended bridge-like shooting platform? I've got some evil thoughts.......

It's easy, just shoot all A's as fast as you can
I suppose we could do a plank inside a piece of staging, fastened by chains. It wouldn't be that size, but it would give the same effect.
I've got 3x5 foot staging (3 units with crossbraces), but we'd need to build up the planks and buy the chain. We're probably talking about $350 or so.

I might have a line on some unused deck boards we could use. I was thinking we could use them braced by 2x4's for a plank. A little HD cable or chains and some sort of staging and we're in luck. I'll make a call tonight and see how much lumber he's willing to part with? This might be feasable

We'll need to double up 5/4 if that's what we're using. Probably best to do long deck boards with diagonal or horizontal doublers, with eye hooks run all the way through, washers, etc.
I'll look a the staging tonight and see how we could attach the chain securely (probably just a loop over the top of the leg).
If somebody falls, Nick, they're going to get SHREDDED.
