Ladies and Gentlemen, BHPC is proud to announce our TOP GUN CHALLENGE Match set for Saturday, July 17 at BHPC's Home Range on Hwy 63 just north of Hudson, IA. This match will be a challanging test of your skills with ALL of the following:
Centerfire Handgun
Rimfire Handgun
Rimfire Rifle
Shotgun

This is the FIRST "Fund-Rai$er" match we have hosted that will feature (drum roll, please) A PRIZE TABLE!

So for the shotgun part of this match... shot? slugs? Those targets look close together.. wouldn't shot hit multiple?

Kevin,

You must use "shot" rather than slugs in your shotgun. It will take a DIRECT hit on each target to knock it over.

Have you competed in USPSA or IDPA before?

We (The Black Hawk Pistol Club) are also holding our "normal" monthly match this coming Sunday (July 11) as well as a "make-up match" this Saturday (July 10). Both of these matches will be at the range just north of Hudson, IA on Hwy 63.

So now I need to crank out some shotgun reloads this week... any shot size recommendation?

For those of you that did sign up and paid already, our Treasurer (James O'Bryon) will be cutting you a check and mailing it back to you. We simply don't have ANY idea of what the range conditions are gonna be for the forseeable future. Therefore, we want to issude refunds rather than holding YOUR money until we can re-schedule.
